It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia – A Very Sunny Christmas
WARNING: This is a surprisingly violent Christmas episode. Not really surprising if you are used to watching It’s Always Sunny, but if this is your first time… don’t watch this episode. Very violent, very full of language. However, really, really funny. If you can get past all the negative aspects, this is a brilliant episode.

Community – Regional Holiday Music
Raise your hand if you knew the final episode would be a Community episode. Community always has incredible Christmas episodes, but this one is my favorite. They completely nail the whole Glee theme and Taran Killam does an incredible job.
All the 30 Rock Christmas episodes are on the same level, so you really can’t lose no matter which one you pick. Ludachristmas is the first, and the most talked about. It’s a fun jump back to 1985. Merry Jewish.

Parks and Recreation: Ron and Diane
Whenever Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally get to act together, it’s so fun to watch, especially on Parks and Rec. Amy Poehler’s enthusiasm for Christmas, Ron’s enthusiasm for woodcraft and April’s enthusiasm for being mean to Jerry make this episode solid.
BONUS: the gingerbread office from Citizen Knope

Bob’s Burgers: Father of the Bob
Every Bob’s Burger’s Christmas episode is fantastic. I can say that, because I just watched all of them. I can’t pinpoint what it is about Father of the Bob that stands out more than the other episodes. I guess maybe Gene’s bean bath.
BONUS: God Rest Ye Merry Mannequins
So quality. So confusing. So creepy. So Christmas.
Some days get busy. Other days I just get forgetful. I will not say which of these occurred the past couple days, but I will absolutely lump all three of these days into one catch-up-blog-post!

The Office – Christmas Wishes/Dwight Christmas
Christmas Wishes is a fantastic Erin (aka Kelly, for those of you who remember that) episode. Erin is one of the best characters, in my opinion, especially as the seasons went on. She goes in a new direction in this episode, which is really fun to watch. Dwight Christmas is also a great Erin episode, for all of the Erin/Pete fans out there. The way they brought everything full circle from Jim/Pam to Pete/Erin is so cool to watch, too. This episode is also a great one to watch because of the chemistry between Dwight and Jim.

New Girl – The 23rd
First of the New Girl holiday episodes, the 23rd captures all the awkwardness of the holidays with one of my favorite lines from the show (“What are you doing in [the bathroom]?” “Eating cookies and avoiding confrontation.”). If you’re a fan of the show, it’s a nice refresher to go back and watch this episode. It’s got all of the fun of New Girl without the corniness that has grown over the seasons.
BONUS: LAXmas
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this episode. Billy Eichner is always a great bonus.
Bonus bonus: “THIS IS MY NIGHTMARE.”

The Mindy Project – Christmas Party Sex Trap
When I reread the plot, I didn’t remember this episode being anything special. When I rewatched it, I thought it was completely hilarious. Mindy Kaling is brilliant with one-liners and timing. I adore her writing and acting; I think she’s phenomenal. A plot summary or my nice words don’t really do this episode justice.
BONUS: Christmas
2014’s holiday episode was also really good, but I didn’t like how little it focused on Mindy as an actual person. Still great though.
